coastal

pretty fortunate to live in sydney. i mean admist all the traffic, developments and the shear expense of living we have it pretty darn good here. definitely another pro is our beaches, although you need to battle with traffic and the number of people in the line up you still get that session all to yourself once in a while. well this day wasn't one of those all to yourself sessions but man it was well fun, here's a few flicks i took before and after i went for a paddle.

marathons

lets take a minute to think back to school when you had to run the cross country, do you remember the last 100 or so metres? at the time it felt like the longest of hundred metres you'd ever run, it's was painful, but just like the little train you kept saying to yourself, i think i can, i think i can but then you hit the last 50 metres you're attitude changes to you know you can... the point of this story you ask? because i just started my final semester at university, the final 100 metres. on my way uni this song came on the radio. i like it. i found it slightly relevant. i hope you enjoy it.

shoe and log

Shoe_&_log from Jarrod Harrison on Vimeo.

these days everybody is buying slr camera's, i'm not sure what they desire but i hope it isn't for the belief that they're suddenly going to be able to take rad photographs. i hope. my mate stash picked up a sweet 'happy snap' cammy a few months ago, sweet little piece of technology from lumix. anyway this little clip was of the pair of us playing with the hd features, with the combination with voiglander adaptor allowing us to whack on a nikkor lense on the end.

possibilities endless.

the canon ae-1 program pulled through in melbourne. with the help of bw400cn smiles were all round.
can't help but think about the one that got away. marto and i went on a mission on our last day before we flew out to grab something coo for my sis and her boy that we'd been staying with. there she was, slim, the only problem was i was out of mullah. i was pretty bummed, but none the less i knew i'd have money in the account shortly so marto and i agreed that we would stop by on our way to the airport. the only thing was that the taxi never came. and we had to trk in to the cbd to get a cab. she was on brunswick st. which isn't the cbd. is was done, i had not even had my chance to pay for her. so i sit here now thinking of what could have been. but i say this to you, if you walk into a thrift shop on brunswick and find a bomber jacket with two badges, one for the melbourne city barbershop quartet and the central coast choir, all the best. i know she will make you happy.
