somedays you stumble upon individuals that just encourage you in so many ways, they get your mind racing and thoughts splattering all inside your noggin. Barry McGee is one of these individuals for me, say goodbye to sleep.
Enjoy.

life.

Today a friend told me that every time she sees a rissole she thinks of me.
So in celebration here's a recipe i found on making some kick arse rissoles if you didn't feel like buying premade super market one.

Rissoles are an economical everyday dish. When dining informally with a large group of people, you'll often find Rissoles on the menu. They're also enjoyed cold and if a plate of them are left out, they will quickly disappear.

You can buy uncooked Rissoles in a variety of flavours from most butchers in Australia.

Ingredients

500
1
1
½
1
1
grams
med
cup
teaspoon
tablespoon
minced lean chuck (1 pound lean ground beef)
onion, finely chopped
soft bread crumbs
dried mixed herbs
parsley, chopped
egg, season and beat well

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients well together.
  2. Shape into balls about 6cm ( 2 ½" ) in diameter for a main dish, smaller if serving with pasta or as an appetiser.
  3. Put flour into a bag and then add 2 Rissoles at a time. Shake gently until the Rissoles are coated. Brush off excess flour before cooking.
  4. Cook on the hot plate on the barbie or indoors fry for about 20 minutes turning and browning on all sides.

Rissoles can be served with tomato sauce or gravy as a main dish.
