had a pleasent trip down to melbourne to attend the AGIDEAS conference which to say the least furthered my insight into design. speakers each took their turn inspiring the strangest of things inside me, Eamo Donnelly and Ghostpatrol reiterated that to be happy with what you do, keep doing what makes you happy, Moose (Paul Curtis)/Rikki Campbell and Steve Le Marquand from RESN/Dean Poole all (although in different ways) to not take yourself too seriously, life is fun so enjoy it and Simon Taylor, man Simon Taylor, amazing!
i could easily go on about every speaker that spoke at AGideas but chances are you probably wouldn't read it, it'd be way too long (that's what she said)
but check out it out and be there next year

even aside from the conference, i love melbourne, i mean i really love it, just wish it was closer to the coast, and you know what, if it was you'd probably be looking at a melbourne based designers blog right now, but you're not because it's not. maybe one day, if this global warming is legit.
anyway i better show you some flicks or this will be way too boring, i took my 35mm canon slr down with me, which was super refreshing and the looks i got from the kooks that have the 7d or whatever could have made the trip worth it all by itself.
but although i did enjoy taking shots on film, they not reading to be uploaded because i haven't scanned them in yet... but when i do, you'll see them.
so instead i'm going to borrow a few images that marto and sarah captured down there.
enjoy
